Commercial Upholstering

We are pleased to offer our services for commercial, restaurant, and church projects. Our upholstering work has enabled us to handle large-scale, custom-designed pieces under tight schedules and with strict attention to detail. Restaurant and healthcare seatings have thus become our specialty.

Upholstering Steps

Our upholstery workroom is filled with people with a strong, solid background in reupholstering restaurant booths, church pews, and hotel furniture. Initially, we work on removing the covering and stripping the furniture down to its bare bones. From there, we inspect the frame and springs to determine whether a repair is feasible or a replacement is better. For the repair work, we re-web or retie the springs and reupholster the furniture using new, high-quality fillings such as felt, dacron, or foam. Afterward, we add the finishing trims, skirts, scotch guarding, etc. The repaired piece is personally inspected for quality workmanship.

Why Reupholster

Reupholstering a piece of furniture is advantageous because it extends its life span, especially when the frame is tightened and the cushions are replaced. Furniture considered a family heirloom or with a sentimental or historical significance can be updated with fabrics that match its interiors to retain its familiarity.

Foam and Cushions

We cut foam under the following sizes and fill your cushions accordingly:

Mid Foam (1.8 Density)

A medium-quality high-density foam, available in soft, medium, and firm.

Ultra Foam (2.6 Density)

A 100% Virgin Urethane foam. Its 2.6 density is the best on the market. The Ultra Foam is fire-retardant and passed the California Tec. Bul. 117. Available in soft, medium, firm, and extra firm.

Novus Medium Soy Foam (2.5 Density)

Go green with this new foam that uses renewable raw materials alongside traditional petrochemicals.

Polyfoam (1.2 Density)

Standard grade urethane.

Super Soft (1.5 Density)

Used for back cushions.

UC18 Soft (1.8 Density)

High-resiliency, super-soft foam that resists bottoming out.

Rebond Foam

Used for very firm applications and ideal for church kneeling.

Eva Dry

Open-cell foam designed for outdoor cushions. Water runs through it when used as a textile fabric.

Closed Cell

Micro cell-closed cell crosslinked polyolefin foam. An extra firm foam with a two-pound density. MicroCell exhibits a smooth surface and an extremely fine and uniform cell structure. It is fire-retardant and offers excellent flexibility and resilience.

EZ Dri Foam

EZ Dri polyeurethane foam is an outdoor cushion that dries up almost immediately after exposure to rain, salt spray, melting snow, morning dew, washing, and other sources of moisture and humidity. It has large, open pores that permit maximum water drainage and air circulation, allowing quick use after getting wet or even saturated. EZ DRi outdoor cushioning materials offer the best of two worlds: long-lasting wear and comfort, combined with extremely fast drying. The EZ Dri foam is available in soft, medium, and firm.

Cloth Backed Sew Foam (1.5 Density)

Used in automotive restoration.

Charcoal Foam

Hardback foam is used in packaging.

Visco Memory Foam

Used in custom foam mattresses, sofa bed innerspring mattresses, latex foam, dacron, sewn polywrap, custom down, feather, and spring cushions, and more.
